HISTORY
Since 2002, American PowerZone, Inc. has been a leading provider of engineering, telecom power and general electrical services. Our firm is licensed, bonded and insured in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
In 2002, American PowerZone acquired Engineering International Service Design, a Silver Spring engineering firm (2003) and Network Power Services, a Manassas, Virginia based power service and engineering company. This growth has enabled our company to provide the best in engineering and telecom power.
Our general electrical service sector underwent expansion in 2008 as our company further developed our general electric division. Our outstanding team of qualified and trained engineers provide electrical support to residential and commercial clients living in the DC, Maryland and Virginia communities.

OUR PRESIDENT AND CEO
American PowerZone’s CEO, Alex Alikhani, has been in the fields of engineering and power since the start of his professional career. With a diverse background in both AC and DC engineering and furnishing installation, Alikhani is a graduate of George Washington University and holds a MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering.
Before his start at American PowerZone, Alikhani spent several years with PEPCO (Potomac Electric Power Company) and then transitioned into a Vice Presidency position at System Engineering International (SEI). In this capacity, Mr. Alikhani and his team successfully designed and installed several telecommunications projects for Verizon, Cable and Wireless, WorldCom and Cambrian Communication.
Through his experience and tenure in engineering, design, telecom power solutions and electrical projects, Alikhani formed American PowerZone, Inc. A leader in customer service, performance and knowledge, American PowerZone, based in College Park, MD and supports the residential and commercial needs of members in the Maryland, Virginia and DC communities.
